Evaluation and developer packages ship with 4h-license.properties — a signed file bound to your organisation.

What the JVM checks

1. -D4h.license.required=true (set by demo scripts)
2. File present next to the working directory
3. Signature valid, notAfter in the future, tier matches usage

NanobrainNode.start() fails fast with a clear error if the licence is missing or expired — no silent demo mode in production builds.

No issuer in the zip — new licences come from 4hfix.com or the shop, not from a script inside the package.
